Just a five minutes boat ride away, the “Thai Wreck” lies on the sand at a depth of 25-30 meters.

Originally this boat was under Thai possession but was confiscated by the Indonesian government for smuggling. It went missing during the 2004 Tsunami and was only recently discovered by local divers.

At this beautiful wreck you can see schools of fusiliers, anthias, and lots of batfish, lionfish, morays, nudibranchs, lobsters and exotic crabs.

After you fully enjoyed your bottom time, you can finish your dive at the shallower parts of the shore where you can see lots of beautiful bommies, nice corals and a scenic shoreline.

This dive, due to its depth, is only suitable for divers with advanced open water certification or higher. Open water divers can enjoy the healthy bommies above 18 meters and at the shoreline.

We recommend diving the “Thai Wreck” with NITROX in order to enjoy an additional 10-15 minutes of bottom time.

This wreck is also perfect for anyone looking to acquire the Advanced Wreck Adventure certification!
